Snirks are small, uncommon Beasts displaying enough of the Snark’s characteristics to make their relationship obvious, but not enough for the Guild to agree on exactly what they are. They may represent immature Snarks, a lesser offshoot of the same transformation, or something capable of remaining in this smaller state indefinitely.

They are encountered far less often than the larger Bush Snark and appear somewhat easier to tolerate, although nobody sensible mistakes that for harmlessness. Until better records survive, the Bestiary leaves their exact classification open.
