Chariots - Along the Ancient Roads

A Zine which explores the edge of known Norfolk

A zine series for those who know the land remembers.

Chariots follows real journeys across East Anglia, taken by motorbike, in search of Snap Dragons, buried relics, and the forgotten paths that still shape our world.

Each issue traces a single route through wild ground and stranger history, blending fieldwork with dragon lore, ancient symbols, and fragments of truth.

This is more than a travel diary. It is an invitation.

  • Over 60 pages of field reports, encoded clues and regional lore
  • Real locations. Real routes. Real reward
  • A £1000 Totemic Snap Dragon awaits the first four to solve it.

Solve the Path. Claim the Beast.

Hidden throughout each issue are riddles, skip codes, ciphers and sigils. Solve them all you’ll unlock a one-use code that lets you claim one of our £1000 dragons from the webstore for free.

These aren’t just puzzles. They’re maps. They’re tests. They’re keys.

The Wyrm Road – Issue One

It begins at Quidenham Barrow, where a Snap Dragon carved from root and ritual is unearthed beneath misidentified stone.

The trail moves through Roman roads, heathland shrines, and sealed vaults beneath Norwich.

It ends in Ludham, in the dark beneath the church, where the last wyrm’s truth waits in silence.

New issues are released every few months. Each trail remains open until its totem is claimed. After that, the path closes but the story stays. You can still buy back issues, but the reward will be gone.

Find the Snap Dragons hidden in each issue. Or use it as your gateway for finding them in the wild. Ride with intent. Read between the lines.

The only wheel, you need concern yourself with, has blades on it.
