Pumpkin Spice Snap Dragons are among the easiest autumn forms to recognise, their bright orange colouring allowing them to disappear surprisingly well among pumpkin patches, fallen leaves and the warm tones of the harvest season.

As with many Snap Dragons, their appearance seems closely tied to their surroundings and diet. The old saying that you are what you eat may be more literal for Snaps than most creatures, and repeated sightings around pumpkins and other autumn crops have led hunters to suspect that their vivid colour develops seasonally rather than being present from hatching.

The Pumpkin Spice form was first recorded as a limited group of thirty effigies, released during the autumn and never repeated in its original form. Its unmistakable colouring and strong association with the changing year place it firmly within the Season Aspect.
