As Spring comes to an end and the flowers on the trees die and wilt away, something new grows in its place. Fruits of every variety start to bud at the ends of branches; some hanging low, some touching the skies.

It's in these trees that you'll find a certain type of Snap. One that seeks the sweet nectar of the plants, the shade of the leaves and the sturdiness needed to support their weight. They scurry up the trunks and extend out like a fan, swiping any fruit within their grasp.

Their heft causes the branches to shake and tremble, loosening the ripened fruit from their holds. Just as a fruit is about to drop, the Snap lunges from its perch and snatches its prize as it falls. Like a practised dance that each creature seems to know.

Peaches, nicknamed for their favoured treat, have taken on a pinkish hue within their scales. Be careful if you ever pick up a fallen peach, as there may just be a Snap on the other side of it. Or in it, depending on the size of the beast or the fruit.
